What to Expect During Your Project
When you work with Serenity Windows and Siding, you can rely on a well-organized process. You will be kept informed of our progress every step of the way.
After you request an estimate, we will set up a time to meet you at the site to get an idea of the project, take measurements and discuss the details. A time and cost estimate will be sent by email, with a follow-up phone call to ensure we have met our obligations and answer any questions. When an estimate is agreed upon, a contract is written up and signed. Materials are ordered immediately following contract signing. Half of the project cost is due at signing, with the remainder due at completion of the project. All projects include 1 year labor warranty for new construction and any manufacturers' warranties on materials.
Upon receipt of the materials, we will call to schedule the job. On window jobs, we ask all customers to remove all window coverings before we commence work. On siding jobs, we ask the customer to trim any bushes back and move any items at least 6 ft away so that we can have easier access to do the job more efficiently. Materials, as well as a dumpster, are delivered a day or so before job commencement. Old siding is removed and the house prepped for application. Garbage is clean up and materials are neatly stacked at the end of every day. We want your home to look presentable at every point in the project.
Upon project completion, we will conduct a walk around with the home owner or project manager to ensure everything is done to their satisfaction. Finally, a Certificate of Completion and Warranty are signed, and any remaining payment is made. Average projects last 1-3 weeks for siding, 1-5 days for windows.
